Introduction

Release 3.0.1 starts the new .NET (dot net) release of Theta Enterprises software products.

These are 32-bit products that leave behind the legacy 16-bit coding of previous releases and also take advantage of Microsoft .NET technology.

This requires some additional shared software components to be installed, but the good news is...

  1. These additional components only need to be installed once, when you install your first 3.x product. Other products installed on the same PC use these shared components.
     
  2. Fully compatible with all of your existing files, plus it supports a new "XML" format for data exchange with other products.
     
  3. Long file names are now supported, so no more strange abbreviations like "PROG~1"
    . 
  4. Fully compatible with your existing SuperPro Sentinel standalone bitlocks.
     
  5. If needed, new USB bitlocks can be ordered for laptops that don't have parallel ports.
     
    Network versions require that you order one of the new USB bitlocks for your license server.

PC Requirements


Windows 2000 or XP with at least 256MB memory is recommended.

It is also recommended that you have installed all the latest Windows Updates for your operating system. To see what Microsoft recommends, go to the Microsoft Update Page and run the scan for your system.

 

How to Obtain the Shared Components

 

  •   Order a CD.
    The simplest way to obtain the shared components is to order the latest Software Suite Install CD for 32-bit products.

    The CD is available for $50 shipped by USMail.

  •  Download
     The shared components can be downloaded from the links below.
     
    •  Select Standalone or Network installation.
       
    •  Download and run each installation file.
