Controller Specifies POC Settings

Controller

Well Type is used to denote the normal operation of the well. The state indicated here will have an effect on alarming and runtime statistics.

Sensor/Version Info is checked if the controller uses a variable position sensor (i.e. Inclinometer). This is only available if a CAC pump-off controller has been selected.

Groups are set up by the site administrator to logically organize wells.

OP Area
is a list of well groups that is commonly used to identify the persons for operating the wells.
AdHocGroup1, AdoHocGroup2, and AdoHocGroup3
are used to assign wells to user defined well groups. They are commonly used by the customer to further define groups based on organization, geography, facilities, or any other criteria.

Equipment is where the well's surface and downhole equipment are defined.

Expert Corrections allows the user to individually configure various diagnostic options related to automatic corrections. POCs use sensors to collect the load and position data. These sensors are often subject to error.

Non-Kinematics Surface Positions
configures how position data is corrected relative to actual position. This error is normally caused when when a position switch is used in place of a variable position sensor.
  • XDIAG Auto correction lets XDIAG determine when the appropriate corrections are needed.
  • Use positions for pumping unit kinematics will force XDiag to substitute position data based on kinematics for position data from the POC.
  • Do not correct disables any correction for this type of position data.
Phase-shifted surface positions
configures how position data is corrected relative to top of stoke problems. This error is normally caused when a position switch is used and the top of stoke setting is inaccurate.
  • XDiag auto correction lets XDiag determine when the appropriate corrections are needed.
  • Adjust position phase by is the number of milliseconds that the position data will be changed relative to the load data.
  • Adjust top-of-stroke by is the number of inches that the top of stoke will be adjusted.
  • Do not Correct disables any correction for this type of position data.
Load Cell Adjustment
alters the load cell value by the pounds indicated.

Energy Management

Energy Mode sets up well to be shut down during particular times of the day.
