For about a year, we have been developing a .NET version of XDIAG. Although
more work is required to complete this new version, we have made significant
progress and the program is close to being released for beta testing. This development
is done in parallel to the development of the deviated version of RODSTAR.
This new version of XDIAG is 30%-40% faster than the previous version, has improved
input screens, a larger pattern recognition database and an improved output
report. Also, you see exactly what the printed report will look like onscreen
as Figure 1 shows. The batch mode will be able to create Microsoft Excel files
which will allow faster import into Excel.
Figure 1 shows the new report window of the new XDIAG software. Another improvement
is the dynamically resizable output windows, improved animation features for
the dynamometer plots, and a lot more.
