XSPOC Improvements and New Features

We continue to improve and enhance XSPOC. The driver support for the Delta-X system 60, and Lufkin Automation MPC controllers has been completed and field tested. XSPOC is currently being evaluated by several companies and is being field tested by some of these companies. The results so far are very positive.

In addition to the completion of the drivers for the above mentioned POCs, we are now adding support for the Lufkin Automation PCM controller. Also, we added the following key features to XSPOC:

XSPOC's Trending Capabilities

  • XSPOC can now trend any variable measured from the POC, any value from the customer connected database, and also any variable calculated by XDIAG (up to 70 items from XDIAG's expert analysis). This means that you can have XSPOC display a trend plot of production, pump efficiency, calculated fluid level, bottom minimum stress (to check for buckling problems) and a lot more. Basically, you can have XSPOC trend any variable calculated by the built-in XDIAG expert diagnostic analysis.
  • E-mail Support for Reporting Problems

  • XSPOC users can now automatically e-mail us with well file and dynamometer card attachments. So, if you have a problem with a case, simply click on the e-mail icon, describe the problem you are having, click on Send. XSPOC will automatically send this e-mail to us for evaluation.
  • So far this feature has allowed us to quickly find out questions or problems users have and have been able to improve XSPOC faster than ever before. Using user feedback with this e-mail capability we were able to update the XDIAG pattern recognition database with new downhole pump card shapes, improve the expert logic to give better results, and enhance XSPOC's capabilities and screens.
  • Pump Condition Diagnosis on Group Status Window

  • We added an additional column in the latest version of XSPOC's group status screen that shows the calculated pump condition from the expert diagnostic analysis.
  • This allows the user to look at a large number of wells and easily see problem wells with minimum effort.
  • If you have questions about XSPOC please call Terry Treiberg with Theta Enterprises, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA. His phone number is: (661)303-1656, or you can email him at: terry@xspoc.com.
