A new and improved user interface for RODSTAR is very close to completion. This is one of the many new improvements planned for the next release of RODSTAR (version 2.4).
As the following figure shows, the icons for the input and output views have been moved to the left side of the RODSTAR window. This separates the input and output views’ icons from the rest of the icons on the tool bar. Also, we added an icon to the toolbar for starting the Batch Run Wizard that was described in a previous newsletter.
This new interface will show one input or output view at a time. You can go to any other input or output view by clicking on its icon. You will also be able to have more than one file open at a time (useful, for example, for comparing the output of two files right on the screen instead of having to print them out first).
