For our group builder you now can add the operational score through our interface saving you time by avoiding having to go directly to the database for your adjustment. Host alarms configuration can now be applied across wells in a group thereby avoiding tedious one at a time configuration for common host alarms. XSPOC now support reading, processing and storing historically the fluid level shot data for the Greenshot controller.   • Analysis

    Analyzing the constant flow of data is the key to optimization of each well. XSPOC provides multiple ways of viewing and trending the data from your wells. The XDIAG engine takes raw data and turns it into key diagnostics that provide a hyper-accurate view of what is happening downhole. In addition, XPSOC's proprietary analysis algorithms can actually provide expert level optimization recommendations in human-readable sentences.

    • Well Status:

      The Well Status window allows you to get a quick overview of the status for the currently selected well. Well Status screen displays information about the Pump-Off-Controller, the Pumping Unit, and the Wellbore. It includes both equipment configuration information and the latest telemetry data points.

    • Card Viewer:

      The Card Viewer window provides comprehensive access to current and historical dynamometer cards via the Card Library. For each entry in the Card Library you can view multiple card types, including the [1] surface card, [2] down-hole card (as calculated by XDIAG), [3] and the POC card (as calculated by the pump-off-controller). The Card Viewer allows all card types to be plotted simultaneously for trending comparisons. The Analysis Data section turns card data into verbose process statements that can be read by operators and used to improve optimization. This is achieved by XSPOC’s prorietary intelligence and pattern matching algorithms.

    • History Graph:

      The History Graph window allows any actively archived data point to be plotted over a specific date range or selected time span, in both single and multi-plot modes.

    • Alarm History:

      The Alarm History window displays a complete history of alarms for a specific well. The alarms list includes host alarms (alarms defined in XSPOC) and POC alarms (alarms defined by the POC).

  • Control

    XSPOC provides comprehensive control of remote Pump-Off Controllers. With XSPOC operators in California can start, stop, idle and reconfigure wells in the middle of Texas, saving thousands of dollars of travel costs and drastically increasing well uptime.

    • POC Commands:

      The POC Commands window allows XSPOC users to issue immediate, real-time commands to wells from the XSPOC client software. As long as there is an active connection between the XSPOC server and the POC, these commands can be issued from anyplace at anytime.

    • POC Set Points:

      The Setpoints window allows users to change and update the values in the enabled registers. This allows users to save specific register values to the database in the event that these registers need to be restored at a later date. This XSPOC feature allows each well configuration to be saved as a backup file. In the event of a hardware failure in the controller, the backup file can be written to the controller thus eliminating the need to re-optimize the individual controller.

  • Configuration

    A single production pump is comprised of thousands of dollars of equipment and assets. XSPOC can help you record and track all of it. From an electric motor on the surface, to the individual rods of a rod-string, XSPOC provides detailed records on the equipment that comprise your production wellsite.

    • Well Configuration:

      The Well Configuration window allows you to make changes to a well’s controller information, surface equipment, rod string configuration, and pumping unit data. The Well Config window is also where you can setup how you want to be notified about events for the well. XSPOC can call, page, email, or text the specified users or groups whenever a defined event occurs at the well.

    • Register Panel:

      The Register Panel window provides fine-grained access to the full stack of memory registers for a POC.

  • Well Groups

    XSPOC makes managing an entire field as easy as managing one well. In XSPOC, wells can be organized into hierarchies of groups according to any methodology your organization chooses. These groups can then be used to manage dozens of wells as a single entity.

    • Group Status:

      The Group Status Window displays the current status of the wells that are in the selected group. This window, which is laid out in a spreadsheet view, is used to get a quick and visual overview of the current operation of the wells. The column layout, size, and ordering are completely customizable for a specific user or user group.

    • Field Maps:

      The Field Maps window uses Microsoft Bing Maps ® to plot the geographic location of the wells in a group. This allows users to get a real-time update of well status values in a geographic context.

    • Group Builder:

      The Group Builder window provides a powerful tool for finding wells and building groups. The user-interface uses standard SQL syntax for searching for wells based on any attribute/column in the well database tables. The window also provides users with a direct view of the “raw” data stored in the underlying XSPOC Server database.

  • Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition
    • Facility Tags:

      XSPOC can stream data from all of your wellsite assets, including flow meters, tank level sensors, and gas meters. The Facilities Tag feature in XSPOC has configurable nodes that allow you to pull in data from RTU’s, PLC’s, or any other devices that use the Modbus ® and Allen-Bradley DF1 protocols. Facility Tags are archivable, graphable, and reportable, just like the native data points of a Pump-Off Controller. Host alarms can be setup for Facility Tags which, if triggered, will provide email, telephone, or pager notifications to one or a group of XSPOC users.

    • Schematics:

      Schematics allows XSPOC users to create traditional Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) diagrams that correspond to wellsite assets and processes. XSPOC administrators can create diagrams using industry standard shapes and icons or design their own custom diagrams. 

      Combined, Schematics and Facility Tags, provide a comprehensive SCADA solution for all wellsite telemetry and data streams.

  • Smart Alarming
    • :

      Smart Alarming starts with XSPOC Host Alarms. Host alarms allow users to setup process limits that, if violated, cause XSPOC to generate a process alarm. Host Alarms can be created for any data point that is captured by the XSPOC server for a well or a well group. Host Alarms are distinct from device or RTU alarms and provide greater flexibility for process monitoring.

    • :

      Users have flexible options in setting the upper and lower bound of the acceptable trend domain of the data point the alarm is monitoring. One of these options is to use Statistical Process Control(SPC). Using analysis of variance (ANOVA) calculations, SPC examines trend history and establishes upper and lower bounds based on historical trend peformance.

    • :

      In essence, XSPOC “teaches” itself what a valid process range looks like and triggers alarms when a trend is outside of this domain.

  • XSPOC Mobile
    • :

      XSPOC Mobile was developed by Theta to provide access to a subset of XSPOC features from iOS® or Android® devices. It allows users to access and interact with multiple XSPOC instances using these features:

    • :

      The mobile application does not communicate directly with the SQL Server, unlike the Desktop app. Theta created an intermediate web services layer for security, and the optimization of data delivery to the mobile app. The web services must be installed on an IIS Web server that is accessible from the Internet. The web services must also have access to the SQL Server in order to retrieve data. There are many ways to setup the web services, so it is left to the customer’s discretion to determine what works best for them.
